Entry Fee
$160.00. Entry fee includes greens fees, continental breakfast each day, prizes and Awards Reception following play on Wednesday. Entry fee should be paid online with VISA, MasterCard or Discover credit cards.
Format
This is a match play event. Players will be divided into flights based upon their July 22nd Handicap Indexes. The position in all flights is assigned by Handicap Index. If there is a tie for position in a flight, Handicap Differentials will be used. If a tie still exists, there will be a blind draw to determine position. Play will be at scratch within each flight. All players will play day one and day two, weather permitting. If weather conditions force an adjustment to the match play schedule, players might only be guaranteed one round of play on the first available date of play.
Eligibility
Contestant’s club must be a member of the Chicago Women’s District Golf Association. Amateur players with a current Handicap Index of 26.0 or less.

Field
The field is limited to 72 lowest handicaps as of the close of registration. Should the last flight be incomplete, the committee will decide whether to eliminate that flight, placing the extra players on a waiting list.
Notification
Official notification will be emailed to players after July 22nd, when the field is finalized. Please see complete list of rules and regulations on the CWDGA Tournament Policies page.
Starting Times
Starting times will be e-mailed and posted on the CWDGA website approximately 3 days prior to the event.
Prizes
In championship flight, prizes will be awarded to: winner, runner-up, consolation winner & consolation runner-up. In all other flights prizes will be awarded to: winner, runner-up & consolation winner.
Trophy
The Virginia Ingram Championship Trophy will be engraved with the name of the Championship Flight winner and will be displayed at Golf House.
Ties
All ties will be decided by sudden death play-off, starting at the first hole.
Caddies
If host-club caddies are available, a contestant must either use a caddie or take a cart with a caddie, or take a cart only. A reserved caddie must be used. Contestants may not provide their own caddies.
Attire
Players must always be properly attired. Jeans, T-shirts, tank tops, and golf shorts and skirts shorter than mid-thigh in length are prohibited. Collared shirts are strongly suggested. Adherence to the host club restrictions will apply. Players are advised to check with the host club for clarification of its policies.
Etiquette
Players are always expected to conduct themselves with courtesy and sportsmanship. The Committee has the power to revoke playing privileges for violations.
Refunds
NO REFUND OF ANY PORTION OF THE TOURNAMENT FEE AFTER JULY 22nd REFUND DEADLINE. Withdrawals submitted prior to the refund deadline will receive a full refund minus a $20 handling fee.
Distance Measuring Devices
Distance measuring devices including cell phones and smart watches that conform to USGA specifications are allowed. These devices cannot emit sounds during the round. Range finders that beep must not disturb any other player.
Communication Devices
Players may use cell phones and other internet communication devices as well as smart watches only as a Rules of Golf source, a distance measuring device, and to access the CWDGA Tournament Rules and Four-Ball Rules as long as there is no function which measures wind speed or gradient. In addition, players may use a cell phone to request a ruling. A telephone number will be included on the Notice to Competitors. Players are prohibited from using cell phones for any other phone calls or for texts.
